Tender Details
The extent of works for Urunga STP Upgrade includes but is not limited to: All works comprise all work shown on the drawings and included in the specification. Urunga STP is to be upgraded from 5,000 EP to 10,000 EP capacity to cater for future additional loads from the planned township connections as well as catchment development and holiday loadings.
This upgrade involves the construction of the following;
•a second 5,000 EP IDEA reactor,
•a new inlet works and septage receival facility,
•new chemical dosing facilities,
•two new sludge lagoons, mechanical sludge dewatering system and a sludge storage facility,
•a recycled water treatment plant (RWP) to produce high quality recycled water for supply to new areas via a purple pipe.
•associated electrical system replacement
•associated pipework, drainage, treatment facilities for 10,000 EP.

Note 1 - There is a non–mandatory pre-tender meeting to be held at Site, Hungry Head Road, Urunga on 24th May at 10.30 AM.
Note 2 - This is a two-envelope tender submission. Ensure to review the "Conditions for Participation" details to ensure the tender is submitted in the correct format. Non-Price and Price responses are to be separated into two separate files. The files can be zipped together to be submitted.

Electronic Tender Box Security
During the lodgement process all submitted responses are encrypted for security and stored securely in the “electronic tender box”.
All responses that are received successfully can only be accessed, decrypted, retrieved and opened after the RFT has officially closed.
RFT Response - receipt/confirmation. A detailed system generated electronic receipt is issued for all submitted responses files received successfully.
