This EOI pertains to the supply of electricity for the operations of Sydney Trains and NSW TrainLink
In the running of it's operations, Sydney Trains and NSW Trainlink (The Principal) are large users of electricity. The total electricity consumption for CY2019 was 868.4GWh across 208 NMls for large market sites, and approx. 13.5GWh across 903 NMls for small market sites.
The Principal is looking for 1 or more licensed NSW electricity retailers to supply electricity, for a period of up to 3 (three) years plus 2 x 1 year optional extensions.
The Principal intends to undertake a two stage sourcing process, commencing with an expression of interest (EOI), where by suitably qualified electricity retailers may be short listed to participate in a Request for Tender (RFT) by invitation.
A Tender Briefing Session has been scheduled for 7th July 2020, at 1.30pm by Sydney Trains Strategic Procurement , for Tenderer's who register their interest as per the instruction provided below.
