Sydney Trains is requesting for information from the open market regarding cable troughing solutions.
The Eastern Suburb Railway (ESR) & Illawarra relief tunnels currently hold electrical, communication and signalling cables in asbestos-contained troughing. Sydney Trains plans to replace this with a non-hazardous, sustainable and value for money alternative.
The stage 1 - Request for Information (RFI) of this procurement activity aims to seek information from the open market regarding capability and capacity to fulfill Sydney Trains cable troughing requirements. The respondent’s information received in the RFI stage will be assessed and may be used for shortlisting tenderers for the stage 2 - Request for Proposal (RFP) of this procurement activity.
The stage 2 - RFP scope requires Design, fabrication, and supply of 62km of a fit-for-purpose cable troughing within ESR tunnels.
