Through this RFI process, Sydney Trains intend to obtain market insight to inform its future strategy in relation to the supply of Wheel Impact Load Detector (WILD) and Acoustic Bearing Monitor (ABM) technology, which will involve

Data collation and alerts and

Reporting system.
For the future needs of Wheel Impact Load Detector (WILD) and Acoustic Bearing Monitor (ABM), the scope of the RFI is to understand:

What products and services are available in the market with respect to WILD and ABM technology

The product roadmap for current and future developments

Proponent’s capability in the design, development, maintenance, etc.

Previous experience of the responding proponents.

Background of tenderers as it relates to wayside condition monitoring

Tangible benefits tenderer solution has provided to rolling stock operators

Resource skills and their ability to work in the rail corridor

Maintenance and calibration requirements as per the potential solution
