This Request for Information (RFI) aims to identify suppliers capable of manufacturing fibre-reinforced polymer (FRP) composite poles for Sydney Trains' high-voltage aerial lines.

Sydney Trains invites submissions for FRP composite poles’ suppliers interested in meeting Sydney Trains’ requirements to enable assessment of the market conditions for this category.

The information gathered from this RFI will be assessed to establish a sourcing strategy for FRP composite pole work that Sydney Trains is planning over the next five years.

Respondents shall note, however, that Sydney Trains shall not be obliged to issue a Request for tender (RFT) or to invite any Respondent to submit a tender.
