A Market sounding activity was undertaken. It was discovered that Laverty Pathology is the only supplier in the marketplace who can fully meet the scope of ST drug and alcohol testing requirements in accordance with Rail Safety National Law (NSW), Rail Safety (Adoption of National Law) Act, Rail Safety (Adoption of National Law) Regulation and other relevant legislation and regulations including those required by other Transport Agencies; the Australian/New Zealand Standards 4308:2008 (AS/NZS 4308) and Australian Standards 3547:1997 (AS 3547)

- Sydney Trains - $800,000 per annum; $4,000,000 over the following 5 financial years (excluding GST)
