Tender Details

Sydney Trains is seeking responses from experienced, suitably qualified suppliers who have a demonstrative ability to meet the requirements across Geotechnical, Signalling and Electrical disciplines as set out in this tender.  

The Major Works (MW) Master Services Agreement (MSA) is established to facilitate the engagement of pre-qualified contractors by Sydney Trains (ST) to deliver periodic maintenance services.  

Sydney Trains is seeking qualified tenderers to participate in the Major Periodic Refresh to be considered as a potential Contractor under the following MSA categories: 

1. Geotech discipline  

1.1. Tender Name: MSA Major Periodic Refresh Tender 2022 – Geotech Devegetation  

Description: Geotechnical Works - Devegetation and Rock removal panel  

To qualify for this discipline, the tenderer must meet the following three Geotechnical qualifications but not limited to:  

1.1.1. Rope Access Operators (RAO)  

1.1.2. Working at Heights (WAH)  

1.1.3. ChemCert AQF 3  

1.2. Tender name: MSA Major Periodic  

Refresh Tender 2022 – Geotech Rockfall Description: Geotechnical Works - Rockfall protection and Rockbolting panel  

To qualify for this discipline, the tenderer must meet the following two Geotechnical qualifications but not limited to:  

1.2.1. Rope Access Operators (RAO) 

1.2.2. Working at Heights (WAH)  

2.Signalling discipline  

Tender name: MSA Major Periodic Refresh Tender 2022 – Signalling 

2.1. Train stops panel  

2.2. Track Circuits panel 

2.3. Signal maintenance panel  

3.Electrical discipline  

Tender name: MSA Major Periodic Refresh Tender 2022 – Electrical  

3.1. OHW Adjustments panel  

3.2. Supplementary crews panel  

To qualify for this discipline, the tenderer must have the following three Electrical qualifications:  

3.2.1. MEL 53 Accredited OHW Worker  

3.2.2. MEL 55 Accredited OHW Assembler

3.2.3. MEL 56 Accredited Aerial line worker

NSW Regions: Far North Coast, Mid North Coast, New England, Central Coast, Hunter, Cumberland/Prospect, Nepean, Northern Sydney, Inner West, South East Sydney, South West Sydney, Central West, Orana/Far West, Riverina/Murray, Illawarra, Southern Highlands
