Sydney Trains & NSW Trains / Internal refurbishment of existing rooms located within Platforms 1,2,3 and the Booking Office at Campbelltown Station - WS266510

Sydney Trains(Principal) is seeking tenders from experienced and suitably qualified organisations (Tenderers) who can demonstrate that they satisfy the mandatory requirements set out below and who have a proven ability to meet the Principal's requirements to undertake refurbishment works at Campbelltown station as described in Request for Tender document (RFT). 

The project involves internal refurbishment of the existing rooms located within Platforms 1,2,3 and the Booking Office at Campbelltown Station. The completed project will provide addition space and facilities for the future increase of numbers of train crew using Campbelltown Station. The works consists of minor strip out and demolition of internal walls, ceilings, joinery, floor finishes and services. The new works involves the construction and alterations of new male and female toilets, showers, locker rooms, meal room, sign in office and general services upgraded. There is no external works associated with this project.

Mandatory requirements are:

·         Tenderer’s previous experience in rail environment in similar works.

·         Tenderer’s proposed Key personal demonstrated working experience in operational areas similar to railway environment

·         Ability to provide Safety, Environmental, Quality and Risk Management plans for similar projects.

·         Demonstrated ability to obtain $50 million public liability insurance and contract works insurance for value of the Contract +15%.

·         Compliance with general requirements of the RFT including insurances, policies & statements and government programs

·         Financial capability and capacity to perform whole of the Works 

Tenderers must note that, if successful in the Tender, all personnel work on the Sydney Trains network need to possess Rail Industry Worker (RIW) card (Previously Rail Safety Worker/Rail Industry Safety Induction (RISI) Card).

Tenderers are to note that the Principal will conduct a pre-tender  briefing for prospective Tenderers as detailed below for which attendance is mandatory:

Tenderers are requested to advise of their intention to attend the site meeting not later than 11:00 AM Monday, 07^th November 2016 via Ariba Q&A board
