To cater to increased customer patronage, there is an unprecedented level of investment in rail infrastructure in NSW including the introduction of the New Intercity Fleet.

As part of these developments, there is a requirement for Sydney Trains to remodel rail systems across the network and to replace the existing life expiring assets with state of the art technologies.

The proposed program of works would primarily consist of the following work streams:

Resignalling Projects

Interlocking Renewals

Renewals undertaken by ATCS
