Sydney Trains is adopting Activity Based Working ('ABW'), which requires a transition to digital work practices to support the digitally enabled office environment. The strategic move to ABW spaces supports the NSW Governments decentralisation directive, with over 6,500 Sydney Trains staff required to move into new decentralised ABW spaces by 02 2018. The forms automation solution is a significant enabler to ensuring the success of ABW as it replaces the paper forms with digital workflows, which supports workforce mobility and the capacity to work off site and in geographically disbursed locations.
