Tender Details

The primary objective of the contract is for the provision of an on-going and relatively self-sufficient means of performing routine and corrective painting and grinding of station platform coping units at stations across Sydney Trains and NSW Trains networks.

Encompassing over 128km of platform length at 820 railway stations across six geographic regions, the serviceable assets at each location generally consist of the station platforms and associated supplementary sites (such as roads and carparks).

Due to the nature of the services taking place within the rail corridor, it may be necessary to schedule works to occur after hours, during mid-week or weekend possessions with contractors required to arrange suitable worksite protection.

Note: Please use RFT ID WS234312

Request for Proposals - An invitation for expressions of interest / seeking preliminary proposals. In many cases these may be used as a basis for shortlisting tenderers, along with other criteria such as expertise and experience. Prospective tenderers are initially evaluated for their proposal against the relevant selection criteria. A number of those who best meet the criteria are invited to tender. For complex or some other types of procurement, where the product or service outcomes are highly dependent on the content of the proposals received from Tenderers, the outcome may be negotiated.
