Sydney Trains & NSW Trains / Hazmat and Occupational Hygienist Services Panel - WS1942983766

Sydney Trains is seeking responses from suitably qualified suppliers to provide hazmat and occupational hygiene consultancy services across the rail network. 

Sydney Trains is committed to maintaining the health and safety of its workers, contractors, visitors and members of the public through hazardous materials management. This commitment includes minimising workplace exposure through identification, assessment and remediation wherever it is reasonably practicable and safe to do so. 

The hazardous materials and occupational hygiene panel is required to meet the requirements of Sydney Trains to NSW Work Health and Safety (WHS) Regulations to inspect and manage assets containing hazardous materials. The occupational hygiene component also involves assessing workplaces for occupational exposures and providing subject matter advice on the controls required to limit these exposures. 

It is intended to establish the panel with 3 to 4 Panel Members. 

Sydney Trains is inviting tenders from suppliers who meet the following mandatory requirements:

1. Proven experience in providing services in Rail environment

2. Ability to provide the mandatory requirements listed in Tenderer's Capacity schedule

3. Key Personnel with Licenced Asbestos Assessor (LAA) and associate membership (as a minimum) of the Australian Institute of Occupational Hygienists (AIOH) qualifications

4. Suitability (skills and experience) and availability of proposed key personnel

5. Compliance with general requirements of the RFT including insurances (Public Liability Insurance -$20M per occurrence, Professional Indemnity Insurance -$10M for each and every claim and Workers' Compensation Insurance).

6. Tenderer’s financial capacity to undertake the works
