Tender Details

Sydney Trains is seeking Tenders from suitably qualified Contractors for undertaking ad hoc corrective maintenance and minor fencing repairs and works across the Sydney Trains network. The nature of the required works revolves around reactive maintenance rather than preventive maintenance. Quick response and turnarounds on short notice are essential from the Contractor as in most instances there are safety concerns which need to be managed promptly. The Contractor will be responsible for repairing fences and rectifying issues in a timely manner to a safe and secure level according to Sydney Trains standards. 

Sydney Trains maintains fences to

·         improve safety and security at rail corridors;

·         prevent unauthorised access to restricted sites, lines and corridors;

·         prevent or minimise vandalism, malicious damages, graffiti;

·         protect assets and infrastructure;

·         prevent and minimise trains operation disruptions.

The Contractor must be able to provide required works and services in NSW regional areas and the Sydney metropolitan area bounded by Hamilton in the North (via Epping and North Shore lines), Nowra (Bomaderry) in the South including the Cronulla line, Macarthur in the South West including the East Hills line and Lithgow in the West, including the Richmond line, Olympic Park line and Carlingford line.
