Sydney Trains will launch a RFP for the supply of Contact Wire and Dropper Wire ( Bare Conductors) for Over Head Wiring Electrical System for Transport for NSW’s (TfNSW) electrical network. The Transport for NSW cluster has an estimated requirement of 65,000m/year Contact Wire and 30,000m/year Dropper Wire in its 1500V DC electrified network. The proposed Term of the Contract is 1 year with the option for Sydney Trains to extend this Term by up to two periods of 1 year each.

Supply and Delivery of Batteries, Chargers and Stands for System Substation
The Transport for NSW cluster has over 400 traction substations in its 1500V DC electrified network. Batteries & Chargers provide standby and normal operating dc power to mainly support SCADA, Emergency DC lightning, switchgear and DCCBs in system substations. In addition to a proactive planned maintenance program selected existing substations are being systematically upgraded, and new substations are planned for construction for the next 3 years and beyond. This investment is to support the major infrastructure program to increase train passenger capacity. This includes the successful rollout of the Warratah Train Program.
